SPECIAL PROJECTS

The CYPHER Stamp Club is working on some exciting new programs for young stamp collectors. We have quite a few presentations, programs and activities that assist in helping children learn about the hobby and how to properly safeguard their stamps and collection. At the end of each of our meetings the children are afforded the opportunity to dig through our "treasure tubs" of loose United States and Worldwide stamps. All of these are provided free to the children attending our meetings.

Everything About Birds
A one-day event scheduled at Howbert Elementary School in Colorado Springs. Children will be introduced to the hobby with a PowerPoint presentation, an instructional pamphlet, a small selection of topical bird stamps and hinges, a couple bird related first-day-covers. Children will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite birds from five different categories.
