One of the greatest resources for a stamp collector are publications (journals, magazines, books, catalogs and pamphlets) related to the hobby. There are many organizations that publish specialized journals related to philately. Many publications are received as a benefit of joining an organization or society.  There are far too many stamp collecting organizations situated throughout the world to list here. You can search for an organization of interest on-line and visit the sites at your leisure. Again, the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library has an extensive selection of current and back-issues of these same publications.
