Local Stamp Auctions

The Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library holds two or three auctions every year. Bids are accepted by mail, over the internet or in person during the live auction. The auction catalogs are included with the bi-monthly Scribblings journal mailing and they are available on-line at the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library Auctions website. The auctions feature single stamps, country collections, accumulations of postal history, covers and stationery that were donated by members and other individuals. The auctions are a main source of revenue used to support the day to day operations of the non-profit Library.

4th Annual Denver Stamp Club Auction

The 4th Annual Denver Stamp Club auction is scheduled for November 22, 2025, in the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library meeting room. The single session auction begins at 1:00 PM. Lots will be available for viewing from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, November 21 and on the day of the auction. Auction begins at 1:00 PM.

The auction features 140 different lots. consisting of stamps, covers, albums, stock books, collections and miscellaneous philatelic material and supplies. 

Bidders must be present, no mail in or telephone bids are accepted. Cash or check or credit card payments, no PayPal or VENMO. On-Site pick up of lots only, there is no shipping provided for lots won.

8th Annual Country, Large Lots Auction

The 8th Annual RMPL Country, Cover, Postcard, and Large Lots Auction is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026

Location: Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library, 2038 S. Pontiac Way, Denver, CO 80224.

Time: The single session auction begins at 11:00 AM.

The auction features over 390 different lots. consisting of stamps or covers in albums, stock books, commemorative or thematic collections, bulk cover lots, cover collections in albums, miscellaneous philatelic material and supplies and philatelic books. Bidding is available on-line, by mail or in person during the show.
